THREAD LIFT · Forte Clinic, Yeoksam

Thread lifting treatment at Forte Clinic in Gangnam

Thread lifting uses medical, absorbable threads to physically pull and anchor sagging tissue. It suits those who want the immediate contour improvement that device-based lifting alone can lack.

DurationAbout 12–18 months
DowntimeSwelling and bruising 3–7 days
EffectImmediate contour improvement
Best suited toPronounced sagging, contour definition

How It Works

Along with the immediate effect of the threads pulling and anchoring the tissue, collagen forms around the threads and firmness builds over time.

Combining with Device Lifting

Combining with device-based lifting such as Ulthera or InMode delivers both contour improvement and firmness.

Who Thread Lifting Is For

Thread lifting suits those with pronounced sagging who want their contours defined. That said, the same concern can have different causes, and a different procedure may be a better fit, so Forte Clinic examines the condition and layers of your skin before deciding on any treatment. If it is not the right indication, we explain why.

  • We recommend only the procedures you need, after an accurate diagnosis.
  • We tailor the intensity and coverage to your face shape, skin thickness and condition.
  • Everything is done one-on-one in a fully private room, with no waiting or exposure.

How the Procedure Works

  • 1Consultation — We check your skin condition and concerns and assess whether thread lifting is suitable.
  • 2Preparation — After cleansing, numbing cream is applied where needed to reduce discomfort.
  • 3Treatment — Performed precisely over the area and at the intensity designed for you. (Duration about 12–18 months)
  • 4Soothing & Guidance — After soothing care, we explain aftercare and the next steps of your plan.

Aftercare and Downtime

Downtime for thread lifting is about 3–7 days of swelling and bruising, and it varies from person to person. Cleansing and basic makeup are usually fine on the same day. We recommend sun protection and plenty of hydration for two weeks, and avoiding saunas, heavy drinking and strenuous exercise for one week. If you have an important event coming up, let us know during consultation and we will plan around it.

Cost

Thread lifting is a non-covered procedure, and the cost varies with the area, coverage and number of sessions. The exact amount is provided as a written total after consultation before we proceed, and you can review the range for each item on our Non-covered Treatment Fees page. We recommend only what you need, rather than pushing large packages.
