The UV exposure accumulated over the summer breaks down dermal collagen and leaves pigmentation behind. On the surface it first shows as dryness and dullness, but in reality the environment deep within the skin has changed. At this time, the order in which you restore the dermal environment matters more than managing the surface, and it shapes the result.

Why we look at Rejuran and Ulthera together

The two procedures act on different layers. Rejuran works on the dermal environment and its regenerative capacity, while Ulthera works on the structure of the SMAS layer. Approaching them in order — first firming up the skin's regenerative foundation, then setting the structure — is often more favorable for maintaining results than doing just one.

That said, we do not perform the two procedures on the same day. We separate the timing so that recovery and results can be assessed distinctly.
